Cancellation timeframes are calculated based on Mauritius local time.
- Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a 100% refund.
- Cancellations made between 24 and 72 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, late arrivals, or no-shows are non-refundable.
- Refunds, where applicable, are processed to the original payment method only.
- No refunds will be issued for unused portions of an experience.
Changes, Weather & Force Majeure
We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel experiences due to weather conditions, safety concerns, operational requirements, or events beyond our control. Where possible, we will offer an alternative date or experience. Refunds, if any, are at our discretion unless required by law.
If an experience cannot take place because of adverse weather conditions or official weather advisories, we will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative date when conditions are safe and suitable.
If rescheduling is not feasible due to the customer’s travel schedule (such as an imminent departure) or operational constraints on our side, a full refund of the amount paid will be issued.
Dodo Island Discoveries Ltd shall not be responsible for cancellations, delays, or disruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyclones, government regulations, public health emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such situations, refunds or rescheduling options will be considered at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are required to arrive at the designated meeting point at the scheduled time. Failure to do so, including late arrival or absence, will result in forfeiture of the booking, and no refund will be provided.

By booking any experience with Dodo Island Discoveries Ltd, customers confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation and Refund Policy, as well as all related Terms & Conditions.
